Love thy neighbor, they brother and they sister ... but only if they are straight?

I can't keep quiet any longer!

The issue of basic civil rights for Americans is under attack!

By the big bad bullies of the Christian right!

It's unreal to me that as Christians this group repeatedly has to have someone to throw stones at.

Currently - as they push their "Family Values" agenda ... they are creating an environment of hate towards their brothers and sisters.  This hate they are teaching their children.  Teaching them this under the guise of Christianity.  This to me is of the utmost blasphemy.

What determines the scale of sin that Christians everywhere seem to relate to?  Why is one sin by another, worse than the sin of the self?  I'll tell you why!  It's easier to see what is wrong with others to make what is wrong with us seem less weighted.

Hypocrisy. Hypocrisy.  Hypocrisy.

Why is what goes on in the bedroom of another the business of anyone else?  Why do we Christians condemn another for their sin and yet hold our head high.

Why are Christians so vigilantly attacking gays and lesbians, of whom are also Christians, while hiding their own sins?

Is playing God and acting like The Judge a sin?
Is teaching and promoting hate a sin?
Is hating another of God's beloved children a sin?

For the Christian who ignorantly believes that their gay brothers and lesbian sisters do not have a place at the table of the Lord ... let he or she be the first to reveal their ever pure soul, free of sin, free of hate, free of blasphemy!  For the rest of Christianity would like to see the second perfect soul to walk this great Earth, the first, of course, being Christ himself!

Agreed. It's hypocritical Christians who make Christianity look bad. I am not innocent of that sin, unfortunately. However, I'm a work in progress until the day I die and repentance is what cleans me (and any believer) once again.

Jesus freed this woman (see Scripture ref below) from her impending sentence of being stoned to death. It would be wise for everyone to remember He is the Judge and the only Judge. Eternal grace/mercy or punishment is the sentence. True faith in Christ is what makes the difference. The end.

I agree. We are supposed to love everyone and accept everyone regardless of what they believe or do. And that is the main message of what Christ taught. We are all broken and have issues, so just because someone accepts God, that doesn't make them any better than anyone else. What right do we have judging anyone? I don't understand why some Christians protest gay marriage. Maybe we don't necessarily agree with it, but that doesn't mean that we should be trying to stop it. It's not for us to say what people can or cannot do. Everyone has the freedom to make their own choices and we should respect that. I don't agree with pre-marital sex either, but I'm not about to yell at someone who is doing that or try to stop them from doing that. God speaks more through a kind, accepting heart. People are supposed to know Christians by their love.
